Yesterday was just one of "those" days. I have had the flu for a couple of days now and I wasn't feeling much better but yesterday I was actually going to get up and meet some friends online. I gathered myself, forgot to check my mood at the proverbial door and ended up being a bit grumpy towards them. So I'm sitting in my computer chair covered in a robe and a blanket, secure but grumpy and getting ready to play with my friends when I multitask for a split second to find an email in my inbox from Eva's journal. She has passed away. That sentence, that she's gone is so hard to write, too hard to even comprehend. I found myself sobbing uncontrollably within seconds, Davy jumping out of his chair next to me to wrap me up in the biggest hug you could imagine. He curled up in the couch next to me while I visited memories of her safely. Laying in bed the anxiety washed over me like a warm ocean, trying to fight the fear and pain of losing someone so beautiful to this world. These next few posts will be my favorite memories of knowing Eva. Enjoy them with me, I know she would love it.
I have to take the time and say if you didn't know Eva and are willing to read quite a bit, you can check out her blog that was started ages ago: http://65redroses.livejournal.com

I remember sitting in at home in Iceland when I first friended Eva on Livejournal. She was.. enthusiastic and kind but what got me most were her talent with both words and pictures but one of my favorite memories of her was her Vocal Mask that she did a few years ago at a CF Gala. There was something different about this girl.. something I couldn't put my finger on.
